Victor walked down the stairs wearing a pair of skinny jeans and a bably top with black converse. He went over to the huge mirror and fixed his shoulder-length hair with stylishly fringed contour. He did a little mess, and blue-black hair with serpent coils slipped out of his hand shining in the bright sun. He smiled with pleasure and made sure that the glasses were actually in a correct position. Then he turned around and looked at the lower-body parts, laughing without any reason. Victor moved his face closer to the mirror and reached his hand until finally it rested on the cool surface. There he was, more than perfectly shaped lips with subtle, natural colour with slightly pointy chin. The feature which got most attention was deep burgundy eyes reflecting the flashes of magic and mysterious emotions, lonely, haunted by grief. His eyes were framed with a sinful abundance of black, soot-dipped lashes. It looked best against pale skin he had. Every inch of his body was an obsessively beautiful image...
- So why did you choose that Rodko instead of me, hm? Huh?! Answer me, you bitch. - He looked with anger and dismay at the mirror. He won't ever defeat himself, it was sure. Situation was hopeless and nothing could have been done to overcome his pure feelings toward THAT guy. Victor was full of complicated and contradicting feelings, saying one thing, doing another. The truth was he probably wouldn't even been able to hate or just dislike HIM. It made Victor feel so bad and increased hate toward his own person.
- I just hate myself, I hate my life, and I hate Karen, or rather love him to death... - He laughed sadly and lean his head against the mirror. - Gosh, I'm pathetic... He doesn't deserve love from anyone…But why Rodko? He is old...Karen is old...old people should stand together. Yes, that's the reason...for sure. Actually Rodko is not that bad, I have to admit. To be honest, I was in love with him in the first grade. He is mature, experienced, and intelligent... not like some crying-all-the-time baby. Calm, creative, elegant, smart, stylish...- Victor was summing up features using fingers. - I just can't wait to see him again... that's what I hate most about it…
Victor sighed and leaned back against the wall, closing his eyes. He was worrying about his possessive father and disturbed by the fact that he had booked rooms in Karen's hotel…HIS hotel. Victor was sure that his father was considering some sort of stupid revenge. That's what powerful guys do when their reputation is marked by scandal. Family honour and shits like that. Victor would be happier not seeing Karen, but father had it probably deeply in the ass. Now his situation was even more tragic. He had to play two roles at the same time; a neutral kid and a kid that would provide Karen with safe and enjoyable summer holiday.
- I won't let them hurt you... - Victor whispered with an exhausted sigh. - Seriously, this trip is going to kill me. I should have kept my mouth shut.
Victor looked around to check if anyone was there. He speaks to the mirror, to himself in form of 'schizophrenic' dialogue, ruminating upon the possibility that he might one day be dead. More and more, he felt like he was doing a really bad impression of himself. He shook his head and came down to the restaurant for breakfast. First thing he noticed was a terribly posh interior which reminded him of Karen, again. He was everywhere. Victor sat at the table and slowly buttered piece of toast with apathetic expression. He took a newspaper and started to read headlines carefully when suddenly someone gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. Kurt sat on the opposite side of the table and smiled to Victor. He was wearing classic punk shirt with Sex Pistols "God save the queen" print and childishly charming arm warmer with skinny straight-leg ultra-long pants. Victor looked under the table and noticed All-Stars shoes. Then he looked up again, on his colourful dreadlocks and burst out laughing.
- What's so funny? - Asked Kurt with a toothy smile.
- Nothing...I just...why are those people staring at us? - Victor became disturbed by curious onlookers, mostly fashion designers and company directors.
- Well, I'm not the only freak around... is that guy dressed in black staring at your butt as if hypnotised? Gooosh...fashion world is truly fucked up. I wonder how many people in this business dream of you, the great son of the even greater Vincent Farenhigh. They might have heard some gossips about your relationship with Karen what makes things even worse...it's so gross. - Said Kurt with a bit of a smirk.
- Very funny...I'm not a slut and being famous sucks...But that slim guy with long silver hair is not that bad...- Victor murmured.
- Wha…? What? - Kurt rapidly turned around fully to have a better view on the guy with wicked hair.
- What is so special about him? I bet he is some sort of perv or even worse, a heterosexual type.
- Noo... he is sort of a cutie. Look! He smiled to me. - Victor smiled back.
- Victor! Stop flirting with that guy! - Kurt gasped desperately.
- I'm not flirting...at all... I lost my appetite. - He threw a toast and got up from the table. Let's get out of here. - He waited for Kurt and then quickly left.
They spent a whole day outside as far as possible from the hotel, family and members of the company. Victor bought load of useless stuff what made him feel much better and carrying heavy bags of shopping up the hill replaced his mental suffering with a physical pain. Kurt had to carry most of Victor's stuff and nearly died before reaching the coffee table outside the hotel with a glass of water.
- I'm not moving anywhere else. - He gasped after a drink of water. - I hate this 'bangalow'...What are you going to do with that whole crap you bought? I thought you cannot go shopping without credit card and taxi driver for your own, especially in place like that. Without Prada, Lacroix or Vivienne Westwood shops. That's amazing how quickly you adapted yourself to the new situation.
Victor smiled and took chevron beads made of coloured glass.
- I'm going to use that on you…
- What for? What is it? Some kind of anal balls…? - Kurt asked dumbly.
- Crap no! I'm going to string it onto your dreadlocks. Come here.
- Jesus... - Kurt sat next to his lover and looked into the menu while Victor took care of his hair and beads with pleasure.

Karen finished his shower and now he was quickly putting on some clothes. He decided to wear his favourite, white trousers and a shirt in the same colour. Underneath the shirt he was wearing a black vest and he had matching, shiny shoes. He had to look as good as it was possible; it was a tropical island full of VIPs after all. He took his dark glasses and after a minute of thoughts he placed them on his head, combing his unruly hair back with that.
- Whoa, now you look really tasty. - Lavi smiled and kissed Karen. - And you are my boyfriend. I'm so proud!
- Well I surely hope you are. I'm doing it for you in the end...and you look fabulous too. - Karen smiled looking at Lavi in black, well- fitting trousers and a tight, white vest with buttons. - But it will be even better if you would...wear it...- Karen undid few buttons from the top. - ...just like that.
- Ah, if you say so. - Lavi blushed with embarrassment.
- Let's go now. I will buy you a drink, a special one! - Karen took Lavi's hand and they both went downstairs.
The hotel's bar was full of people and Karen recognised most of them. He smiled proudly; his hotel really was becoming something exquisite. Few people waved to him with smiles and he did the same to them. As for now, he had no time and will to go and join them...he wanted to be with Lavi. But then the prime minister of Britain suddenly waved at him and Karen dared not to refuse his invitation.
- Lavi…go to the garden without me please, and get us something to drink, okay? I have to talk to that guy...- Karen smiled a little.
- Oh, of course...you would have to be mad to refuse! Go, I will wait for you there. - Lavi kissed him discreetly and walked outside.
The bar was located right in front of the exit so Lavi had no trouble finding it. The waiter recognised him and quickly run towards him.
- Welcome, sir. Would you like to sit down?
- Oh, yes thank you. But...drinks...
- I will bring you a menu...sir - The waiter smiled kindly and picked the best table, away from people and noise.
- Thank you...- Lavi looked around and yawned discretely. He was so tired and dreamed about going to bed...but there was no chance for this now.
When the waiter gave him a menu, Lavi was quick to pick a drink for him and whisky on ice for Karen. He knew very well that this was practically the only thing Karen was drinking…except coffee and water.
Lavi fell on the table, bored to death. He hoped that Karen will be back soon because sitting at the table alone wasn't pleasant at all...especially when half of the people knew, or suspected, who he was and was staring at him and whispering. Lavi really wanted to disappear right now.
- Karen...hurry up, please...- He murmured to himself and covered his head with both arms.

Vincent and Mary were just about to leave the hotel. They wanted to go out and have dinner in a nice restaurant in the town. Vincent hated places like this hotel, they were definitely too posh and people around were always whispering and staring at him as if he was some bizarre creature from another planet. It was annoying and Vincent longed to be alone with his wife and to relax for a moment. Romantic date was exactly what he needed now the most. Unfortunately Mary had her own ideas about dates and so Vincent ended up wearing black jeans and a baggy shirt. After this...transformation Vincent started to believe that he really is a creature from another planet.
- Ah, Vincent, wait! Victor is there, we should tell him that we are going away. - Mary dragged him towards their son...and his new, conspicuous boyfriend. - Can we stay with them for a bit, pleas honey...?
- If you need to stay with them... - Vincent sighed and followed Mary. He wouldn't win with her anyway so resistance was pointless.
Vincent had a weird feeling that Victor was behaving strangely around him lately...as if he was seriously angry at him. Vincent didn't understand why and, even though he was thinking about it sometimes, no reasonable answer appeared in his mind.
Mary caught Victor from behind and hugged him tightly.
- What is my darling doing, did you miss your mum? - She kissed Victor on the cheek. - We are going out soon, so I just want to check if everything is fine...
Vincent was acting as if the wall was suddenly very interesting and ignored his son totally. Actually whenever he saw Victor, he was starting to wonder when Karen will appear in the hotel...he was seriously late.
Victor left Kurt's dreadlocks and bent it at an odd way giving him a secret signal to stay calm.
- Mum...please treat me more like an adult. What happened to dad? Is he already in his pyjamas? ...wearing a tie under it? Gosh and you're going out together. Are you my real parents? I don't believe, give them back aliens! - Victor laughed a bit but Kurt frozen with fear.
- Oh, how am I supposed to treat you like an adult when you are soo adorable! - Mary kissed him again. - We are going out because your father is going mad in this place...you know, people staring and so forth...And isn't he handsome like that? He looks so much younger!
Mary hugged Vincent and kissed him deeply even though he was murmuring with complains. He was very happy to do it when they are alone...not when people can see his little weakness.
- Enough already...- Vincent was able to restrain Mary after few moments. - I feel like a weird man in those clothes and I'm wearing them only because you asked. Can we go now? - He wanted to disappear as soon as possible. And the company of his...son and his boyfriend was giving him gooseflesh.
- Aww, but I want to stay with my darling for a moment. Sit down Vincent, please! - Mary made a childish face.
- For God's sake...- Vincent sat down with a sulk. - Hurry up woman...You are supposed to go out with me tonight. - He was jealous now, and that was only bad for Victor.
Mary looked at him, surprised but didn't comment at all...it would be useless anyway. She looked at Victor again and smiled to Kurt.
- Are you two having fun? Kurt, take care of my son while we will be out, okay? He is so clumsy... - She started playing with Victor's hair.
Vincent's fingers were nervously pattering on the counter. His gaze was fixated on the bottle of whisky standing on the shelf.
- Hey, barman! Give me whisky on ice. - He asked in a voice of a serial killer and got his drink seconds later. - Well, thank you...- He didn't really mean it.
-Oh yeah, undoubtedly. - Victor had a moment of sad reflections remarks upon his weak connection with parents, especially dad who never noticed his existence at all and mother who never truly listened to what he had to say or complain about. He looked at Kurt and whispered:
- Now you know why I'm that weird. - Kurt smiled only but didn't say a word. He felt sorry for this kid and wasn't even surprised by the fact that he felt so quickly into Karen. It was the first person who woke up love in his soul…Of course... before crashing it into pieces.
- Clumsy? I think he is doing quite well in life. - He started to think about the huge barrier that grew between Victor's childhood and adult life. He was close to slap his parents in face by telling: "what kind of parents are you?!" - But he didn't have the courage to say it loud.
- It's ok mum. - Victor assured her. - Dad, since when you're fan of whisky? - First thought which came to his mind was Karen - whisky and second whisky - Karen.
- I'm drinking whisky since I became an owner of the Farenhigh Corp... - "Nothing better was left in my life..." Vincent sighed and emptied the glass. - And it's quite good.
- You are on the best way to be an alcoholic...you should really stop drinking whisky. - Mary sighed. - But you will never listen to me...
- But I like it. It's not that I can't stop and I'm not drinking all the time...but it relaxes me and I can forget about this annoying world and people in it.
- You are just hopeless... - Mary looked at Kurt and smiled. - I know that Victor is a very capable young man. But it's hard to accept the fact that my only child is so mature already...
Vincent groaned quietly. He didn't really agree with Mary on this topic. All he could see in his son was an immature and stubborn brat. He gazed at Victor and wondered why he is trying to ruin his father physically, mentally and financially.
- It's not like I feel any different than I did before. - Victor sighed. -I still need your love and support... both of you. - He looked at his father with despair. - Maybe I made some mistakes in past but it's not that I wanted to. I got lost in the way... - His eyes were saying that he was serious and needed a hug.
Kurt observed his father's reactions and level of attention but he couldn't say anything about his current emotions.
- Aw, my poor boy...let me hug you. I love you so much...we both love you. - Mary hugged him tightly. - You are such a good child, I couldn't ask for a better son. - She looked at Vincent. - Don't you think so...Vincent?
Vincent looked at them. As always his face looked like a mask, beautiful and…dead. He looked at Victor sharply; not showing any kind of emotions. But deep inside, he was fighting with his own self. Of course he loved Victor and he was very proud of him...but things that he has done recently made it difficult for Vincent to accept him. He just started to accept the fact that his son will not be a lawyer and will not take the company over one day, and another shocking fact appeared. His son was gay, and on top of this, he had a romance with one of the most powerful men on the planet.
- Of course I agree. - He murmured in the end and looked away quickly. - Can we go now?
Mary sighed with a hopeless smile and looked at Victor.
- You see...he is just playing a macho...
- Does he treat you the same, mum? It must be horrible to stay with him as a husband. - Victor hid face in mum's arm. - You should go...
- Don't be ridiculous. I love him even thought he is a weird guy. And he is loyal and I can rely on him every time. - Mary patted Victor's head for a moment. - Okay...we should go then...if you insist so much on it, Vincent.
- At least! I'm dying already...I haven't eat anything since morning! I had meetings unlike you lazy fellows. I just want to eat something... - Vincent jumped up, started to make a fuss and acted really childish.
- Oh my...I have two children already! - Mary kissed Victor again and she stood up from the chair. - Lets go and feed you...Victor, remember to eat your supper!
- Have fun and play safe, while enjoying yourself. - Victor said with spite.
Kurt didn't listen at all because he suddenly felt an unwanted presence of someone else. He slowly looked up to see a figure, a little away slightly shaded by the umbrella. He blinked, eyes rapidly refocusing on the figure. Without a doubt it was his teacher, Lavi…Teacher...and Karen's lover. "Crap..." he thought and hoped that Victor didn't see him. Fortunately his eyes were concentrated on the parents. Kurt's plan was to get rid of Mary and Vincent and drag Victor out before a certain disaster.
- Of course...we will be very careful. - Mary giggled and looked at Vincent. - Won't we honey?
- No, not really...- Vincent smiled in this scary, mysterious way.
- Huh? - May blinked, surprised by her husband's reply. - What do you...?
- Oh, nothing at all. - Vincent suddenly knit his brows and looked around.
There was no mistake about this scent. He could smell his blood even from here. In the end he was one of the eldest vampires alive. "Rosenberg..." - Vincent thought to himself and smiled. He was waiting for that guy for so long that he grew seriously impatient.
- You know...we can stay here. I felt a sudden need to be with my family. - Vincent sat down quickly. - I'm sure they have something to eat here too...Hey, waiter! Give me a menu please.
-Ah! Have you heard that Victor? - Mary smiled happily. - Family's meeting! Our first evening together since err...I don't even remember. - She giggled.
- Victor, how are you feeling? - Vincent asked without even looking at his son.
Victor looked at him with suspicious, accusing eyes and said slowly.
- Okay...Since when do you care about me unless I'm in trouble or something? I don't believe you want to stay here absolutely without any reason. Dad... what's going on? - He placed elbows on the table and sent an angry look his way.
Vincent was absolutely overwhelmed by the sweet scent of Karen's blood; it was so strong that almost knocked him out so he didn't really care about Victor's emotions right now. For a very long time he was thinking about the way to humiliate Karen and cause him as much pain as possible, but he wasn't able to pick anything creative.
- I'm your father, so of course I care about you...especially when you are not in trouble because then I only feel like killing you. - Vincent closed his eyes…he could feel a change in Karen's pulse. He was going outside.
- Okay...now the whole situation is starting to be a little awkward... - Mary was a bit afraid of the consequences.
- Nah, everything is perfectly normal. Maybe we should go in the end...there is nothing tasty around here...except one person who smells very nicely. - Vincent looked at Mary but his smile was not directed to her.
Mary didn't notice and she blushed with embarrassment. It wasn't common to hear something like that from Vincent. She looked at Victor and Kurt and then back at her husband.
- If you really have to eat somewhere else...then we can go. - She sighed. - You are worse than a woman, changing your mind all the time.
- If you insist on staying here then I will just grab somebody as a snack... - Vincent was growing impatient. Any minute now and Karen will be out and his chance to catch him inside will be lost.
- I don't understand even a little what is going on... - Victor said disturbed.
- Same here...- Mary was looking at Vincent suspiciously.
- And any of you must know what is going on here. So come on, we are going now. - Vincent grabbed Mary's hand and was just about to drag her away when he suddenly stopped and sighed. His moment was lost...

Karen was absolutely bored to death with the monologue of Mr. Prime President of United Kingdom. "Uh, Britons are so phlegmatic and boring..." he thought to himself. He quickly glanced out of the window and saw Lavi lying on the table; he smiled and looked at the PM again.
- I'm really sorry sir...but I have a companion with me and it's inappropriate for me to leave him alone. We will talk tomorrow, I assure you... - Karen bowed deeply and smiled.
- Ah, of course Mr. Rosenberg, I understand. We will see each other around then. - The Prime Minister smiled.
- Of course…have a nice day, sir. - Karen sighed with relief; he was finally free and able to join Lavi outside. He hoped that his whisky is waiting for him...
Karen slowly walked out and stopped for a moment on the terrace to take a cigarette out of his pocket. He looked at the perfectly clear sky and squinted in the sunlight while lighting the cigarette. He forgot how bright the sun was in this place. Karen took a deep breath, took the glasses off from his head and placed them on his nose. "Ah, much better now…I can see something except the brightness" he thought and walked down the stairs. The wind blew gently, playing with Karen's undone shirt, messing with his blonde hair and the dog tags hanging on his neck jingled softly. Every single person's gaze was now resting on his figure. He was looking more like a movie star than a businessman, with this happy, flirty smile and an ideal figure and sexy clothes.
- What a pity that I'm already taken. - Karen murmured to himself with a little sneer and moved towards Lavi.
He wanted to get his hands on the whisky so much, that he didn't even notice half of the people sitting in the garden around him. Karen was just tired and his mind was full of other thoughts. He sat down on the chair and sighed deeply.
- Lavi…wake up! - Karen poked him gently with one finger.
- I'm not sleeping…I'm only dying from boredom. - Lavi looked at him and smiled. - But I can stop it right now… - He purred like a kitten when Karen leaned over the table and kissed him sweetly.
- So what would you like to do now? Go to the beach or to the town…or anything else? - Karen stroke Lavi's hand with his.
- Hmm…can we stay here today? I'm quite tired after what you have done to me in this car… - Lavi yawned and smiled. - Although it was pleasurable…
- I'm happy then. - Karen laughed. - Let's drink then, we will be officially pissed today!
- Aye, cheers…
Vincent gaze was now fixated only on Karen, watching his every move, spying on every single breath. Vincent sat down again, unable to act in any way, he had to surrender and wait for another chance. Karen didn't even notice them, busy with his new lover about who every media was now shouting around.
- So are we going or not...? - Mary seemed not to notice the strange behaviour of her husband.
- I don't care...We can stay, I will order something here. - Vincent couldn't hold back and licked his lips slowly, like a predator which is about to strike.
-Is that...? Oh my fucking god... - Victor rested his back on the seat and slowly began to slide from it. It was Karen…his first worst enemy and love of life in one. All became to life again with double strength. The memories were moving fast across his mind turning into twisted dreams. He felt his own heart painfully throbbing for the memory of the relationship they had. Past times when he sincerely hoped that the differences between them won't lead to the crush... Victor looked up and down on him staying longer on Karen's face. "Meh... these glasses really fit you well... but where did you get those ridiculous pants? Can I kiss you?" He shook his head after a few more seconds. He thought he was going insane; his life was falling apart right in front of him. Victor laughed sadly and quietly to himself. He kept asking himself how he got into this mess over and over again. Finally he looked at his father with bitter look. - Is that some sort of refined punishment...? - He asked.
- I wasn't really planning to let him walk this far. But I was forced to fail because of you and your mother's useless babbling. - Vincent looked at Victor with a grimace. - Did you really believe that I will let this man walk on earth after what he has done? Not without punishment...
- My God, Vincent? What are you talking about? - Mary was seriously scared now. - I don't like what you are saying now...
- Don't worry about it. - Vincent kissed her hand. - Could you please go back to your room now? I will take you somewhere later...- Vincent looked straight into her eyes. He wasn't using his power over Mary often, but he had to use it now. - Go and wait for me in our room...
- Of course... - Mary smiled, her eyes blank without any expression.
- Good... - He gently kissed her hand and allowed her go inside. - You two should go now too. And I mean now. - His voice was cold as ice and sharp as a sword.
- Oh no, no... Are you mental? Whatever you're planning to do with him I won't let you. - Victor murmured in the same tone.
- Like you have any means to stop me. - Valentine sneered and slowly got up. - Unfortunately I have no power over my own blood so I cannot order you to disappear... - He sighed. - But I will make you if you will become a nuisance.
- Dad, I'm serious. It's not how adult people deal with things. Stop that now because I'm scared and I don't like the way you behave now… - Victor started to panic but tired to hide it from him. He also thought who acts more adult in this situation and came to the annoying reflection.
- People, yes...but we are not people and you should remember that. - A sudden flash of purple appeared in Vincent eyes. Again, he felt a change in Karen's pulse...he was about to move. Vincent looked at him quickly and was watching Karen's moves again.
- You're not listening me... it's not what I want you to do. Daad... please, no killing, hurting, injuring anybody. If you would just be...be my father... I need warmth not his head on the plate. It would kill me. I would never recover from it. Stop whatever you're doing right now! - He stood up too.
- You are really weird sometimes...and after who did you inherit such a weakness... - Valentine sighed and sat down again. - I didn't like him from the beginning anyway...he is doing some pretty dark businesses behind the curtain for purity and I don't like it.
- My definition of weakness is a little bit different... When you're strong only when everyone is weak, by definition that makes you weak. Am I right daddy? - He smiled with a lighter heart.
- Teenagers in those days are hopeless...- Vincent smiled and patted Victor's hair with a long sigh. - But I will at least punch him properly...just to taste him... - Vincent looked towards Karen's scent and blinked. - Huh...why is he standing there like an imbecile...?
- What...? - Victor turned head as slowly as possible and looked into Karen's eyes for a moment longer than swift. He wanted to stare at his love but felt the force warning him to stop. He quickly picked up menu and hid face behind it. - Dad... you couldn't choose worse place for holidays. - He hardly could breath and his hands were shaking a little.
- It was luxurious and quite cheap at the same time...so I picked it as a best offer...and I really wanted to kill him and that was the easiest way to do so... - Vincent cleared his throat and stood up slowly. - Now I'm going to hit him... - He walked towards Karen slowly, his hands forming two fists.

***

Karen laughed again and hugged Lavi gently. Both of them were fully enjoying each other's presence and were happy to be together.
- You know what Lavi...the sunset is really stunning in here...we should go and see it. - He kissed Lavi and took his hand. - Will you go with me?
- Anywhere...wait a moment...- Lavi finished his drink and smiled. - Okay, we can go now.
Karen smiled and they both left their places and slowly walked towards the beach, holding each other's hands. Karen hid one hand in the pocket in his trousers and looked at Lavi. They really looked good together, better than he could have imagined it.
- This day will belong entirely to you... - Karen said it with a happy face. - I will do whatever you want me to.
- Oh, I always wanted to have a servant. You will carry my shoes when we will be walking on the beach then. - Lavi grinned. - And, actually...could you please get me some water? It's so hot in here...and the air is so dry.
- Still or sparkling?
- Still...from the fridge. - Lavi kissed him gently. - Go fetch it.
- A servant is not a dog...wait here. - Karen left him and walked towards the bar, staring at the ground underneath him. His hair were starting to annoy him, the wind was now a bit stronger now and was seriously messing his hair. Karen took out a black hair band out of his pocket and shook his head to tidy his hair a bit. He quickly tied them up with a hair band, creating a short, rakish ponytail.
- Ah, much better... - He smiled to himself. But suddenly his heart beat faster, he caught some movement with the corner of his eye...something which he didn't and did want to see at the same moment. He blinked and looked at that direction. "Oh...no...Yes...no, definitely no..." his thoughts were confused. He was standing at one spot like a statue, unable to move, breath or even blink. The only thing...person, he was able to recognise now was sitting at the bar...and it was him...
- Victor... - Karen murmured even though he didn't want to. The sudden desire to hold Victor…to feel his warmth and scent overwhelmed him for a moment.

Lavi was looking at Karen all the time and because of that he was able to notice this sudden change in his behaviour. Karen was now standing rooted to the spot and staring ahead. Lavi knitted his brows and looked at the same direction. What he saw made him gasp with fear and he suddenly felt very cold. It was Victor...and Karen was staring at him in THAT way. "No...Please, Karen stop it...come back here, please!" Lavi started panicking but couldn't move; he was too weak to even speak. He suddenly felt as if he was losing everything, as everything would be falling apart at this very moment. He knew that he will not be able to take it anymore. Lavi took few steps back, trembling all over. And then Karen's lips moved, 'Victor' was what he whispered...it was enough to break Lavi's heart. He turned around and quickly ran away towards the beach, his heart racing terribly and pain clenching his lungs so hard that he couldn't breathe. The only thought he had in his mind now was to run, run as far as possible.

Karen shook his head and looked away. His face was red with embarrassment and he felt that his head is starting to hurt badly. "Why didn't he look at me at all...?" His own thought scared him badly. It was perfect that he didn't stare back at Karen because he was now with Lavi and he loved him very much. "I'm not interested in this brat anymore...I don't care about him and he is not sexy at all..." these thoughts were so faked that he was even more embarrassed now.
- Water...get the water and disappear... - He murmured to himself and started walking again, quickly, towards the bar. - Water...give me water, now!
- Sparkling or still sir? - The barman was shocked by this unusual behaviour.
- Still, still...from the fridge...give it to me. Hurry up. - Karen glanced at Victor again and then he noticed Valentine...walking towards him.
Karen's eyes widened with shock and his face became pale like a wall. He knew very well what will happen when Valentine will reach him...and the expression on his face was only backing Karen's worse fears.
- For god's sake, Dad! How many times have I told you not to hurt people? - Victor suddenly hanged on his father arm and stared into his eyes like a lovesick deer. - Let's leave, please...
- But...- Vincent sighed with pain. - I just wanted to bleed him a little bit. - He looked at Karen with pure hatred. - But well...as you wish. In the end it was you who he hurt. I shall go on this date with your mother then. Take care...and don't disturb us today... - He frowned at Victor. - I'm planning to produce another heir for our family soon... - Vincent said it as if he was talking about buying some pants and walked away, leaving Victor standing practically in front of surprised Karen.
- Dad, wait! Do you mean....kids?! What for?! Shouldn't you ask me for an opinion? Am I not enough for you or what....? I do not allow...! No, no...Who is going to love me now... - He felt like losing parents in a tragic accident. - I thought you hate kids... - He murmured and stamped his feet really acting like a child. - People like you shouldn't have kids. You'll pay for their psychiatric therapy...you'll see...- "And they will choose gay lifestyle!" - He thought with satisfaction and stopped in the middle of loudly blabbering.
Vincent stopped and looked at Victor with a mysterious smile.
- If I would hate children you would be sent to some far away place to study. And as far as I know you are able to be at home every time you wish to, am I wrong? - Vincent's gaze was now suspiciously gentle. - And wasn't I the one who wished to kill this piece of shit who hurt you?
He started walking again and waved to Victor for goodbye.
- Ah, I always wanted to have twin boys...but you will always be my firstborn son.
- Gees, is sperm something you can control too? - He snorted with laughter.
- Well, who knows...who know... - Vincent laughed quietly and winked to Victor. - How else would I be able to create such an intelligent boy like you? - He cleared his throat. - Don't push it any further... - Vincent went inside without looking at Victor again. "My hearth is seriously damaged by those eyes of his..." he thought to himself suddenly.
- Wow, was it a compliment? I hope someone recorded it. - Victor smiled a bit.
Karen was now staring at Victor dumbly. He suddenly felt so happy; he was still alive in the end. But this sudden behaviour which he saw woke him up. Once again Victor was only a child in his eyes. Karen blinked and looked around...his heart started beating fearfully...Lavi was gone.
- Your water sir...sir? - The barman looked worried.
- Ah, thanks. - Karen looked at Victor for a moment, took the bottle and didn't really know what to do. "I hope he didn't do something reckless...Gosh, why am I so stupid! To look at another with such eyes when Lavi is around..." Karen hated himself for this moment of weakness towards Victor. But even though he knew that Victor is just a child and that Lavi is probably crying his eyes out somewhere, he just couldn't move away. Karen's eyes slowly came back to where Victor was standing and the desire to hold him came back to him with even greater power. "No...No, I can't! Get hold of yourself for God's sake!" Karen was fighting with his self, but it seemed that the reasonable side was loosing to the emotional one.
- Vic...tor... - He murmured with difficulty and he felt a fire going through his veins.
Victor pushed blue-black hair out of his eyes and glanced at Karen. He smiled sweetly and came closer; gaze still intently focused on him. He stopped in front of Karen and gave him a grin "Don't suppress feelings, don't deny that you have them... it's going to lead to an increase in wanting it." He thought about Kurt's words and said softly:
-Hello... Karen... - it wasn't what he wanted to say to him at all. "It was just a perfect manifest of hate" he looked down and laughed.
Karen was a bit surprised that Victor came closer and even greets him. But there was something in him that Karen saw as a sign of hate, hidden but still visible…or maybe it was just his own imagination. He didn't really know what to do in this situation...or what to say. His mind was totally blank but then, suddenly, he saw his own hand moving up...reaching towards Victor's face. His eyes widened with shock, he didn't want to do it...actually he did want it...but it was wrong. Just wrong! The hand stopped suddenly, inches from its target.
- Nice hair... - Karen blurted out without thinking, his hand still hanging in the air.
Victor took a step back with fear, and leaped in the opposite direction from his hand. He felt scared and confused as well, but mostly confused not knowing what to do.
- Thanks... it's nothing special...I...I... please tell me the real reason why you dumped me...I have to know...I don't want any revenge or anything like that...just tell me why.
Karen quickly pulled his hand back, scared by this sudden reaction. The question that Victor asked was even scarier...because Karen had no answer for it. His whole body was shouting with deep feelings towards that boy, every inch trembling with lust and need to feel his warmth.
- The reason...well... - Karen thought that it would be best to end it quickly and so decided to lie to Victor. He had to hide his true emotions from him and do what was best for both of them. Victor had his whole life ahead of him, he should enjoy it and not stick to somebody who was eight years older and mixed into dangerous businesses. - I was bored...I've got what I wanted so why would I stay with you any longer? - He smiled meanly but his heart was broken into pieces.
- I shall leave you now. My sweet lover ran off because of my imprudence and carelessness. - Karen threw a bottle of water up and caught it. - I have to find him...and comfort him...Have a nice holiday...and don't cross my path again.
Even he himself was shocked with this brutality. Was he really this rotten and unfeeling? No, he just knew that Victor was definitely too young for a relationship with such a person. And there was Lavi too...he couldn't possibly hurt his feelings. Lavi was the one who followed him all the way from England and gave in to Karen completely. But even though he was able to say all those cruel words, Karen's eyes were filled with sadness and desire for Victor.
Karen clenched his fists, trying to keep the show going and to prevent his self from embracing Victor with all the love and passion he had in his soul. He took few steps back, still looking straight into Victor's eyes and then turned around, covered his eyes with glasses and slowly walked forward. "That's a good timing...phew" he thought after feeling warmth of tears running down his cheeks.
Victor bit his lip to keep from crying.
- Ok... I think I need a psychiatrist right now. I might have some kind of emotional or mental disability but a strange feeling tells me we have the same emotions in our heats. That whole crap you said about me...God dammit...can't you act normal and be yourself at least once? I don't care about your current relationship. Do you really think that I'm so stupid to believe in some cheap story?
Karen stopped suddenly and took a deep breath. He was so dizzy from all this that couldn't think straight anymore. He wiped the tears off and turned around to face Victor again. And then he noticed Kurt. It was so hard to think now, but with all the strength that was left in him, he forced his mind to cooperate once more. He smiled, looking straight at Kurt, he could tell that Kurt loved Victor and hated him, which could be beneficial.
- So you really want to know my true feelings...? - Karen quickly walked towards Victor, tightened his arms around his waist and leaned his head towards Victor's ear. - The desire for your body is unbearable...every glance at you is so painful that I want to scream...I feel as if I could kill you from this mad lust... - Karen glanced at Kurt and smiled monstrously. "Come on...do something you stupid brat...move yourself and save both of us from this madness" he urged Kurt with his thoughts but then other appeared suddenly "Take this challenge like a man…even though you are bound to fail and lose him." Karen kissed Victor's neck and pervasively licked it with a tip of his tongue.
- I want to possess the whole of you…I want to capture and imprison you. Inflicting pain to you brings me joy…I love to see your face filled with pleasure but your hurt expression is like an aphrodisiac for me… - Karen was still whispering, but whispering loud enough for Kurt to hear everything. - Destroying you, breaking you to pieces would be my greatest delight and sobbing you is totally enticing my lecherous character...That is what I feel and every minute spend close to you is making those desires stronger…
His hand slipped under Victor's shirt, Karen's fingers caressing the delicate skin. Karen's eyes were still fixated on Kurt, his cruel gaze probing his mind through the eyes. The hand slowly moved down and crept into Victor's jeans, resting on the verge of his buttocks.

Kurt leaned his head on hands and propped his elbow atop knees. "Here we go Mr. Karen...calling him a child, and still being more mindless than a child itself...Who are you fighting with? Or...who is it who makes you so angry that you are still paying the price for your thoughtless words or vindictive actions? Losing control and getting lost in the murky netherworlds between perception and reality…Yeeep...I'm pretty sure Freud would have something to say about this." Kurt smiled triumphantly when he saw Victor's face, "Anyway... thanks for giving him back to me..." he thought.
Victor pulled Karen away towards the bar.
- Get your hands off me! What the hell are you thinking?! That was just gross. Okay, you could have destroyed our relationship, you could have destroyed my love for you, you can destroy yourself but you cannot destroy my life because it is mine... - he looked around and found that everyone in the bar was looking at them. - You sick perverted...uhhh…! - He turned back and grabbed Kurt's hand. - We're leaving...
- So that means I can take your answer as a confession of pure hatred towards me? - Karen chuckled with a steady gaze. - I…how should I say it…I just enjoy destroying things, people to be precise. - He said it with a doll- like face.
Karen turned his back on both of them and walked away with an alluring dignity, waving to them with no respect whatsoever. "One way or another…I've won over them…such pure and na?ve children." he sighed with envy, "How I miss this simple life without any complications…everything divided into love and hatred. No grey between them…a true Ying and Yang, an absolute balance." He gazed at Victor secretly and threw the bottle into the air once more. That should be enough to make him get over this short, but surely very precious, love. Karen felt that now he is controlling his feelings and that no one will see through his brutal illusion. But to be really sure, he decided to play his last card and break even the slightest feelings towards him left in Victor's heart.
- I have to admit that you were the most interesting of all my partners…but not because you were special or great in any way. The reasons for your uniqueness are simple. One, because you are Farenhigh, the son of the biggest mystery walking on Earth and the second cause of your dissimilarity is…- Karen chuckled with a cold insensibility. - Well, you probably would like to keep that one as a secret wouldn't you? - He winked to Victor with a nasty smile. - The only thing that I really regret is that I had no opportunity to feel your disease in my veins… - He put two fingers against his neck, precisely in where the artery was and sighed with a heavy heart. His words were dripping with a seriously dangerous threat of blackmailing.
To make Victor despise him was Karen's goal from the beginning. To be fair, he was afraid to engage in this fairly difficult and wobbly relationship. What he wanted now, was a steady relationship which he could be sure of for the rest of his life. And he was scared that the relationship with Victor would not be like that…that the child, which Victor still was, will get bored of him and leave as soon as it will be mature enough to see that maybe better life is waiting somewhere else. Yes, the best solution appeared to be this, tearing off all the threads that were connecting them and focus on his present, successful relationship with Lavi.
Victor's eyes were filled with pain not anger. They glittered with tears and lost this gentle light. A faint smile eased his face as he said:
- Do you really mean it, Karen? - He turned his back on him and fell into tears without even hearing any reply. - He was right saying that nothing of me is original...
Kurt held him tightly because it seemed to him that Victor might pass out in a second. He was simply terrified by his strong reactions.
- Victor, what are you talking about...It's a bullshit...don't give him this satisfaction...gees. You're even more pale than usual... hello? You cannot faint now...aww. - Kurt looked at Karen hatefully. - Yep, you can be proud of yourself... - He murmured.
- Oh? Did he lose it completely this time? Such a pity then... - Karen smiled a little. - He could've thought about the consequences before he approached me...because of him Lavi was hurt and I won't forgive such a thing. - Enjoy your little monster there, he is all yours...don't forget to put a choke on him before you let him feed on you. - He laughed mercilessly. - Those marks are visible at a first sight...I shall be off to my pure, sweet lover...ciao!
Karen didn't even look back at them; he just walked on with a steady, stony face. He wasn't so cruel all the time, he didn't even like being cruel but today he just lost control over his reactions. It was just too much...he desired Victor so much but in the other hand he didn't want to touch or even look at him. His mind and body was so confused. He felt hot inside...he needed to find Lavi as soon as possible and apologize to him. He wanted to hold him in his arms and never let go.
As soon as he was out of Victor's and Kurt's sight, Karen started running. He panicked because he had absolutely no idea where Lavi could be by now. He was absolutely furious at his self. Why did he stay at the bar after he saw that Lavi was gone? Why didn't he chase after him? Oh…yes, it was because Karen had to end his delusional desire towards Victor. It was because it wouldn't be fair to say that he loved only Lavi and at the same moment be thinking about Victor. Karen had second thoughts about his choice…maybe he should choose Victor instead of Lavi? Those thoughts were besetting him until today. But now, after seeing Victor and how childish he still was, Karen was sure. He was madly in love with Lavi and Victor was only attractive in his eyes, nothing else.
Karen quickly circled the hotel in order to avoid Kurt and Victor and ran upstairs. He burst into his and Lavi apartment and looked around, panting heavily. Everything seemed to be as it was, untouched. Karen sighed with relief; he knew that Lavi would never left without his things. Karen sat down on the bed in order to rest a little and to clear his mind. He had to think about the situation for a moment…where could Lavi go? Karen was sure that Lavi was not really thinking clearly after what he saw; he was probably panicking and crazily jealous and mad. Karen was pretty sure that if Lavi is not here, in their's room, he will be hiding somewhere outside. He stood up and looked around once more. He saw Lavi's grey sweater with pink and white trapezes on the front hanging on the chair. "He must be cold by now…and it's getting darker with every minute…the temperature will drop even more…" he was so worried about Lavi. Karen grabbed the sweater and walked downstairs again, much calmer and relaxed now, and decided to ask about Lavi at the reception…just to be sure.
- Hi…did you see Lavi by any chance? - Karen leaned his elbow on the front desk.
- No sir, I'm sorry. - The young receptionist smiled to him apologetically. - Is something wrong…?
- Yep, he is quite mad at me now…I have to find him. - Karen smiled to the young boy. He was really pretty, as all Karen's employees. In the end that was necessary if Karen wanted to have some fun from time to time. - Call me on my mobile if you will see him by any chance, okay?
- Yes sir, no problem…and good luck.
- Hah, that will be necessary! - Karen walked outside and headed for the beach. - Aw man, it will be really hard to find him in there…so many caves, bushes and trees. - He moaned with pain.
Even though he was looking around carefully, the beach was completely empty. There was nobody who he could ask about Lavi. In the end Karen stopped in the middle of the beach and looked around, hopelessly, again. He sighed and took the sunglasses off of his nose. He knew that he couldn't give up and just hope that Lavi will return on his own, it would be very rude. And the forest was so big and thick that Lavi, who was here for the first time, could easily lost his way back and hurt himself…not to mention all the wild animals living here. But the feeling of powerlessly was overwhelming. He neglected Lavi, who is probably crying somewhere in the bushes now. Karen hung his head with a sorrowful sigh and rubbed his eyes with both hands. He was already tired before, but now he was just staggering, barely standing up on his legs. And then suddenly he saw something interesting. There was a path of somebody's footprints imprinted in the sand. It seemed to be pretty fresh and the foot size was just right for Lavi. Karen's hearth jumped up with happiness, it had to be Lavi. He moved quickly, stepping on the trace carefully. It lead him all the way to the forest and there it shear off suddenly. Lavi probably went into the forest; Karen moaned again…he absolutely hated walking around the forest. There were so many places to get dirty…He looked around again hoping to see Lavi. Karen decided not to shout or call out Lavi's name because he was afraid that Lavi will run away. When he was on the edge of giving up, something moved suddenly on his left. Karen squint his eyes and looked carefully. It was Lavi, he recognised his white vest. He sighed with relief and quickly came at Lavi from behind and caught him, pressing Lavi tightly to his chest.
- Gotha… - Karen did it so suddenly that Lavi screamed with surprise. - Oh, sorry! I didn't mean to scare you…
Lavi looked at him reproachfully. His eyes were red and swollen from crying. Karen's hearth broke at this pitiful sight. He grasped Lavi's shoulders and looked at him with determination.
- Lavi…I'm so sorry but I had to end my doubts… - Karen knew that, even though it will hurt Lavi, he had to say the truth. - I have to admit, I had second thoughts about my choice. I was wondering whether it was right! - Karen was close to crying. He kneeled down before Lavi. - But now I'm sure, I love you and only you! You have to believe in me and my words, please Lavi…forgive me my cruelty. I didn't mean to hurt you.
- Why…why were you looking at him like that? - Lavi whispered it, as if he was scared to talk about it out loud. - With such desire and sadness…were your doubts this big…? - His eyes were shining with tears once again.
- I've explained it to you just now… - Karen sighed. - He was my first love…gay love. I had a very different image of him in my mind! I was confused by it…But now I saw that my desire towards Victor was purely sexual, there are no feelings inside me for him anymore... - Karen kissed Lavi passionately. - …and for you I have all this and even more…my whole hearth, soul and body belongs to you Lavi. - Karen looked at him with sadness in his eyes. - I was so scared that you will act rashly and do something foolish because of that incident…
- What? - Lavi blinked. - Did you think that I would…?
- Yes…! God knows what was in my stupid, panicked mind all this time! - Karen embraced Lavi tightly. - But I had to finish my unfinished business…It's all over now. I'm sure of my choice and I know that my love is only for you. Will you forgive me? Please, forgive me… - He nuzzled his face in Lavi's belly. - I love you so much… - He gasped it out with such emotion that Lavi couldn't help it and patted his head gently.
- Nnn…it's okay now. I believe you and I'm happy that you chose me…I should've waited for you. I'm sorry that I acted so immaturely.
Karen looked at him with an unsecured smile.
- What a relief…I would be absolutely broken…devastated and ruined if you would have left me. - He knocked Lavi down on the ground and kissed him again.
- Hey…wait! I don't wanna do it here…not here…! There are bugs everywhere and it's dirty! - Lavi tried to oppose but his strength left him as soon as Karen's mouth moved down. - Ahm…you are horrible. - His fingers plaited into Karen's hair. - More…more…
Karen smiled slightly, trying to raise Lavi's spirit with all his passion. His hand moved down from Lavi's back and quickly found its way into his trousers. Lavi gasped and his back arched with pleasure.
- K-Karen…that's enough! I'm going to…Stop! I want you now… - Lavi dragged Karen's mouth away from his lower parts and kissed him deeply, feeling his own taste inside Karen's mouth.
Karen wrapped his arms tightly around his waist and Lavi moved his hips up a little. Even though they done it countless of times before, this one was very special. Karen's every move was filled with love, love that he was now sure of. He slid inside Lavi with all the passion which was hidden deeply inside his hearth. The arms which were around his neck felt so good, and Lavi's wet and hot lips which were leaving quick kisses on Karen's face, neck and arms were sweeter than ever, burning every inch of Karen's body.
- Do…do you really love me…? - Lavi panted out, covering his face with both hands. This moment was so intense that he couldn't hold back his tears.
- Of course…I can lie about many things but never about feelings… - Karen took Lavi's hands into his and immobilised them over Lavi's head. - No more covering. I want to see you all the time. - He kissed Lavi's eyes and tenderly licked all the tears from his cheeks. And no more crying because of me…
Lavi laughed, wrapped his tights around Karen's waist, pushing him even closer and deeper inside of his body. They both gasped and all the rhythm was lost in the seconds. They couldn't hold back any longer and both came together, shouting their names at the same moment.
Now Lavi was also sure - it was love, the very first one for him…and so intense. He wanted to loose himself in this endless pleasure and let it go on until the end of everything. That was his biggest dream and all moments shared with Karen were the greatest treasure. Lavi kissed Karen's forehead and smiled, feeling every breath of his lover and his quickly moving, strong chest which he loved so much.
- Karen…? - He smiled happily, looking down at Karen whose head was lying on his naked belly.
- Hmm…? - Karen opened one eye and smiled back, glancing at Lavi.
- Isn't Karen a girl's name…? - Lavi laughed suddenly.
- Eh?! - Karen sat up at once. - Why did you…?! It's not my fault that my mother is wicked. She thought that it will be a nice name for a man. She was saying that it's kind of cute but doesn't suit a girl…in her opinion. You really can ruin the moment, you know?!
- Maybe we should swap places in this relationship then? - Lavi couldn't stop laughing. - If you are supposed to be cute…
- You will die in pain for that… - Karen threw himself at Lavi and started to tickle him with brute satisfaction.
- Stop it! It tickles! Oh my…I can't take it anymore! I will kick you! Stop behaving like a child…! - Lavi could barely breathe. - I warned you…! - He pushed Karen away with his feet.
- Ouch! That hurt! Why are you so brutal?! - Karen moaned, lying on the ground, writhing with pain. - Why did you aim right between my legs…?
- I'm just this kind of a man… - Lavi grinned. - Now that you love me so blindly I can finally be myself! You will be beaten up frequently… - Lavi's grin changed into a devilish smile.
- My boyfriend is a sadist... - Karen came closer again and hugged Lavi tightly.
- Mmm…I'm really happy now. - Lavi smiled gently, moving his hand up and down on Karen's chest.
- Me too…we will be together till the end… - Karen kissed him. - Soon we will be like an old couple…
- You mean old grouch as a husband and a fat, lazy and jabbering wife?
They both started laughing, sitting in the middle of the forest, completely naked with their clothes scattered around them. The moment was so pleasant for them that they wished it would never end. Karen was so sure of his feelings towards Lavi that he kept on ignoring the pain in his heart which was stabbing him every time that he confessed his love to Lavi. He chose to ignore it completely and wanted to lose himself in the moment.
